Old Sofia Hogs bike - Kjelle "Garvis" 1966 Harley chopper
Here is a bit of Swedish Chopper history still alive and kicking, This bike was built mid 70s at the legendary Sofia Hogs place at Munchen bryggeriet in the southern part of Stockholm by Kjelle "Garvis" Wadsmo, he sold his bike in -92 and after a couple of other owners I got my hands on it , and I knew exactly what it was and was happy to ad a little bit bit of my touch to it, it still has the previous owners paintjob on it but will do for now, but plans are to ad a bit of 70s vibe back to it again eventually, I hope you like it / Cougar

The orginal "Gorr The Movie" from -92 in its full original glory, exept two small bits that had RUclips copyright issues that I had to remove /and change music to, But this is the best copy i found so far, the two copies I used to make the earlier upload was sadly in a very poor condition but I hope you take the time to watch this epic documentary again.

Very nice video, as usual ! I have a question : do you have some problems with modified motorcycles in Sweden ? Here in France, we have a fuckin' technical control, and it will be soon very difficult to build a radical chopper or a chopper even not radical...

Thanks, Sweden has a really good system for homebuilt cars and bikes, its somewhat similar to if you build your own airplanes in many other countries, basically an organisation of knowledgable people do some follow up during the build to point out if there are any bad ideas during construction etc and then some testing of the vehicles in the end before they get the permit to drive on the streets it works really nice, it works for the most part very well.

Supernice! Just -83 var jag tio på sommaren och det var runt dom åren jag var med farsan på roadracing och då såg jag choppers på parkeringarna. Den tidens (80-talets) chopperåkare sticker ut i publiken på en film från t ex Mantorp. säg -89. Alla "män" har ljusblått, kvinnor ljusrosa och bikers svart. Det va förresten -83 jag upptäckte motörhead också.
Kul, ja det var goda tider, ingenting var omöjligt och framtiden ljus.

Fina hojar men själva tillställningen och attityden är ju bara jävla skit jämfört med Sweden Rock! På SWR finns allt det som saknas här, gemenskapen, kamratskapen, ödmjukheten, som en stor familj. Har slutat betalat för att gå in på det där jävla skiten! Efterfesten kan de jävla stolpskotten stoppa upp i arslet eller annat valfritt hål för det är också bara jävla skit!
